Life is like a Flower

Image

Human life is like grass
we grow like a flower in the field.
After the wind blows, the flower is gone,
and there is no sign of where it was. | Psalm 103:15-16

How is life like a flower? Life is brief. It is here one day and gone the next. Sometimes life ends unexpectedly just as a flower that is burned up by the sun and dies before having lived an entire season.

Life is like a flower. We must care for our life and for other flowers in order to survive. Sometimes flowers die because we neglect to water and feed them. We neglect to realize our worth and the worth of other flowers around us. We we will not be able to feed our flowers, we will die prematurely and if we forget to inspire ourselves and other people around us, we will die prematurely.

Life is like a flower. We don’t know when our lives will end. Its like a flower in the field is killed without any notices. This gives us an inspiration to cherish our life from the moment we woke up each morning until we end our day in our bed. We don’t know when our life will end. It don’t have any notices and any moment our life may be taken by God.

Comprehending that life is like a flower has a positive impact upon us. If I comprehend the brevity of life, I will live each day as if it were my last. Indeed, it may be my last day to live. Think about this: What would you do today if you knew you were going to die tomorrow? Would you change anything about yourself?

Image

What are your opinions on Bianca’s statements about the squatters?

Bianca Gonzalez speaks out on Manila’s squatter infestation!

Was it because it was said in Tagalog or was it because popular celebrity Bianca Gonzalez (with a “z” at the end) tweeted it? Whatever the reasons are, an outrage craze was born yet again after the modeling and social media superstar let out this gem on Twitter:

“Ang dami nating nagtatrabaho para makaipon para sa prime lot at bahay plus buwis pa. Bakit nga ba bine-baby ang mga informal settlers?”

“As Long As You Love, There Will Still Be Hope”

I got this quotation from the Movie “Love of Siam” starring Mario Maurer. Me and my cousin decided to do a movie marathon last night because today is her flight to Japan.

Love of Siam is really touching and innocently sweet movie about love, though it’s not the conventional kind of love, it became one of my favorite movie. The movie is too deep that not everyone can get, very interesting yet needs a better understanding. Tang`s disappearance, Korn`s depression, Ying`s acceptance, Donut`s desire for Tong`s attention, Sunee`s unbareable pains-acceptance-understanding , June`s perseverance, Tong`s identity crisis and decision making, Mew`s loneliness and cravings for love, Tong`s family lost faith. Like us, every characters in this movie is looking for real happiness and love. it depends on what path we will take and decision that we will make.

Is it possible that we can love someone and never be afraid of losing them or Is it possible that we can live our entire life without loving anyone at all? What would you do if no one understands you? Will you sacrifice for love and suffer all the consequences? We may be hurt at times but love still prevails. Its hard when you know deep inside that all that you need is to Love and to be loved.

Love changes everything. From the way you live up to all the things that you do in life. We cannot erase the fact that there will always be someone who will make us fall in love but sometimes what we want to happen will never happen due to some reasons. There is a saying that Nothing is permanent in this world except changes. All things fade but there will be a replacement like love. Things pass and the best we can do is to let them really go away. Sometimes we win and sometimes we lose. Do not expect anything in return, do not expect your efforts to be appreciated, your love to be understood. Remember that there was a time when you could live without that thing or that person. Nothing is irreplaceable. A habit is not a need. This may sound so obvious, it may even be difficult, but it is very important.

Next Sequel of Finding Nemo: Finding Dory

The bad news? 42 Wallaby Way doesn’t exist. The good news? The Finding Nemo sequel Finding Dory is being made!
Disney and Pixar announced Tuesday that “Finding Nemo” is getting a sequel with the upcoming release of “Finding Dory.”

“I have waited for this day for a long, long, long, long, long, long time,” said Ellen DeGeneres, who voices Dory, in a statement. “I’m not mad it took this long. I know the people at Pixar were busy creating ‘Toy Story 16.’ But the time they took was worth it. The script is fantastic. And it has everything I loved about the first one: It’s got a lot of heart, it’s really funny, and the best part is—it’s got a lot more Dory.”

“Finding Dory” will hit theaters on Nov. 25, 2015.

Easter Sunday – Fun Facts and Trivia

The history of Easter is one of the hoariest and the holiest commemorations for the Christians. It is a day honored by the people who rejoice it with massive religious ardency. After Jesus’ crucifixion, all his apostles were troubled thinking that they will never get to see him again. Nonetheless, Christ rose from his dead body on the third day from his crucifixion.

Good Friday – Why is Good Friday Stated to as “Good”?

Good Friday is also well-known as “Holy Friday,” is the Friday directly preceding Easter Sunday. It is distinguished by tradition as the day on which Jesus was crucified.

Why is Good Friday stated to as “good”? What the Jewish authorities and Romans did to Jesus was definitely not good (see Matthew chapters 26-27). Nevertheless, the consequences of Christ’s death are very virtuous. Romans 5:8, “But God demonstrates his own love for us in this: While we were still sinners, Christ died for us.” First Peter 3:18 tells us, “For Christ died for sins once for all, the righteous for the unrighteous, to bring you to God. He was put to death in the body but made alive by the Spirit.”

Prayer for Holy Thursday

O Lord Jesus, in order that the merits of your sacrifice
on the Cross might be applied to every soul of all time,
you willed that it should be renewed upon the altar.

At the Last Supper, you said:
“Do this in remembrance of me.”

By these words you gave your apostles and their successors the power to consecrate and to the command to do what you yourself did.

I believe that the Mass is both a sacrifice and a memorial- reenacting your passion, death and resurrection.

Help me to realize that the Mass is the greatest gift of God to us and our greatest gift to God.
